Cold Shoulder Dress and Wedges

Here was my date night look. Pat and I saw Alien Covenant, which was awful and had duck lollipops at Seasons 52 which were awesome. I love this soft fun dress from Nordstrom and my new favorite wedges from Target. Cold shoulders are all the rage right now and totally worth the irritation of a strapless bra, bonus this dress is on sale. Here's the look and the details.

This dress is super soft. My color is sold out but I love the sage and the lilac colors. The muted tones are perfect for neutral accessories.

Merona Espadrilles $33

These wedges are super cute. You can't buy a better shoe at this price point. They'll super on point for this seasons trends and they're pretty comfortable too.

My tote is sold out, but I love this scalloped edge tote so much! It's the right size and color for this look.

I love all things druzy! It's a super unique looking piece that I always get complimented on. Mine came from Nordstrom last year but their are lots of similar necklaces on ETSY.

Peasant Dress and Pompom Wedges

I've been dying to wear these shoes for awhile and I finally had the right weather and occasion for my friend Stacey's baby shower. The pompom sandal became hot last season and I made my own version but when I found this wedge version I was super pumped. White Tunic and Espadrilles

Sorry I didn't post last week but my daughter Scarlett was in the hospital having a acute asthma attack. Really scary but she is bouncing back and we are home now. Here is today's ootd: I'm so in love with this Lush tunic I have it in three colors and I just bought a fourth. Last Saturday was my daughter's dance recital and this is what I wore. I'm also loving these Espadrilles I got at Target for a great price. Everyone knows I'm a fan of a wedge. I'm only 5'4" so I like to put on some height but hate the feel of traditional heels. Sephora Play April 2017

Last month's box was kind of boring and it had very little I hadn't already tried. I'm really hoping next month's box has some fun make up to try in the meantime here's my review of the April box.

Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream $52
I like this moisturizer a lot. It doesn't have any spf in it so i use it at night and it does keep my face hydrated for long periods of time. It's not very creamy, I don't use it in the winter but it's great for the summer and often if I am going to the gym in the morning, I use this at night and don't wash it off in the morning.

Philosophy Purity Made Simple Face Cleaner $24
I don't like this face wash and I never have. It feels soapy. I'm just not a fan. I prefer Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Deep Dive Cleansing Gel. However, you can use it as a brush cleaner, so that's what I'll do with this nice sized sample.

Smashbox Iconic Photo Finish Foundation Primer $36
This product has been on everyone's hot list for awhile now. I like it well enough. It does help your foundation glide on smoothly and it helps it last what it doesn't do is fight shine. I like NYX Pore Filler as a primer but I use this if I am in a rush and want my makeup to go on quickly.

Make Up For Ever Aqua XL Eye Pencil Waterproof Eyeliner $21
I really don't like this type of gelish smooth and thick eyeliner. It's impossible to be precise. I wouldn't say it lasts all day either. It's an Allure Beauty Winner and I really don't know why. If you're just a liner and don't do a wing I see how this could be a good product but it just doesn't work for me. I use Kat Von D Tattoo Liner.

Sephora Collection Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover $11
This is a good eye makeup remover. It's pretty oily so it's not great for erasing mistakes and then going back over that skin. I don't use a lot of make-up remover I use Simple Facial Wipes. But when I have false eyelashes on I use this to remove the glue and it works well.

Miu Miu L'Eau Bleue $28-118
So this was truly unmemorable. I kept trying it out to think about what to write and I just couldn't remember it, it was so boring. The product sheet says it's got floral notes, I guess that might be true.
