Battle of the Longwear Drugstore Foundations

Based on a review on Southern Pearls and Curls I decided to try Loreal's Infallible Pro-Glow 24hr Foundation $13 and see how it compared to Revlon's ColorStay Foundation $13. Have a look.

Loreal:
It's very liquidy and takes a little more work to apply but I like the way it blended and the bright pigment.

Here's what it looked like 8 hrs later.

The color is still strong but everything else just looks dull. The foundation wasn't strong enough to keep the blush, bronzer and highlighter in place.

Revlon:
I love the way this foundation seamless blends into your face if you pick your color perfectly.

Here's what it looked like 8 hours later (in 95° humid weather).

My face is pretty shinny (but it was stupid hot) but everything else is still in place.

Verdict: I infinitely prefer the Revlon from start to finish it's a better product.

Shop my Perfect Fall Outfit

I knew I needed this Lula Roe Sarah long cardigan. It's perfect and soft. Mine's a small get one from Olivia Fink. Here are some alternatives and the rest of my #ootd details.

Shop My Look...

The Sweater:

H&M $20
This is the perfect color and length but not quite as soft as the Lula Roe and it doesn't have pockets.

The Shirt:

Lush $24
This is my favorite tee shirt it's so soft!

The Jeans:

Just USA $30
This brand is so soft but these aren't the exact same jeans.

Topshop $80
These are very similar to mine.

The Shoes:

Charlotte Russe $30
On sale and very similar.

Tom's  $98
If you want to invest these are quite comfortable.

The Bag:

Sole Society $60
I adore this bag. It's elegant and fits everything!

H&M $20
For the price this bag is fantastic. I love the fringe details.

The Jewlery:

Choose your length carefully.

This is a cute alternative to my sold out White House Black Market Necklace.

This is a cute alternative to my Tanzanite stacked ring.

For the real deal this a beautiful option.

Here's a similar look with out the extra zeros.

Shop my Dance Night Look

Dance is finally starting again and it's one of my favorite things to do. I love watching Scarlett dance at Arabesque Studio and then getting pizza with my baby and friends. I wore a comfy Lula Roe Carly dress which you can get from Olivia Fink's Facebook Group (mine's a small) or check out these alternatives.

Shop this look:

The Dress

SheIn  $16
My dress is actually a dark green and I love the long sleeves on this one.

Lulus $33
This one has a pocket like the Carly but it's a little short (I love that the Carly is longer in the back!)

The Shoes

Halogen $90
I bought these at the Anniversary Sale and I'm really pleaded with how comfortable they are.

Lulus $25
I can't testify to how comfortable they are but the price is right!

The Bag

Sole Society  $60
This bag is fabulous I get so many compliments. It doesn't fit everything but it handles the basics.

If you want a genuine leather version try out this gorgeous one.

The Necklace

This came from my Rocksbox and if it were a little cheaper I might buy it. Works perfectly with this dress though. Interested in trying Rocksbox? Get a free month with this code: amandabbff1130.

For $5? I think I need this one.

The Bracelet

I get a lot of wear out of this classy bangle.

One of these would work perfectly.

The Rings

Ettika  $30
This came from my Rocksbox and with the discount it came to $14 not a bad deal. I have difficulties with rings because of my arthritis but this delicate and open backed ring doesn't hurt at all.

These caged rings have a similar look.

The Sunnies

BP $12
I really like these sunglasses and the price.

Ray-Ban $150
Beautiful and more sturdy, but don't loose them.

The Dress:

Tobi $42
This tiered dress is super cute!

This one's a little more casual but you can't beat the price.

This one has a similar feel but in a longer style that will take you into winter.

Old Navy  $37
I love this button up, such a versatile style.

The Bag

Faux leather saddle bag with gold details.

Target  $25
A similar but less pricy option.

The Jewlery:

The Shoes:

Macy's  $48
Almost identical to mine.
