Ruffle Shoulder Long Sleeve Tee and Black Booties

Ruffles are still all the rage going into the winter fashion season. This shirt came from H&M and is sold out online but is still in the store. However, Nordstrom has an almost identical shirt from BP. I wore this look several times, once going to bingo with my friends (so much fun even though we didn't win), and then just running errands around town. These BP booties are super comfortable and perfect for walking around. My bag is a classic Coach saddle bag which you can buy vintage on both ETSY and eBay. I get so much wear out of mine. I have a black one and a cognac one. Check out this look and get the shopping details.

See it's almost identical. Get your ruffle on.

I love how comfortable these jeans are, soft and flexible. I rolled the bottom into a little cuff to show off my booties.

They're on sale! I'm excited for you and bummed for me (I paid full price). These booties are all around great.

This is a dupe of an expensive fine jewelry store pendant necklace. It's sophisticated and classic and I have it in silver and gold.

I'm excited Amazon got this beautiful bracelet. It's so elegant.

Distressed Sweater with a Collared Shirt

I wore this distressed sweater last month (check it out) and now I've winterized it with a fun collared shirt from H&M. I'm loving my new BP booties from Nordstrom which are on sale now. They're a bit on the small side but they're perfect without socks and are perfectly comfortable to walk around in. I've worn them all over the place and I'm blister free, woo hoo! My Articles of Society jeans are holding up to winter too with only a few holes that aren't too big. On a side note, what do you think of my new red door? We're selling our house this February and the real estate agent suggested the change. It certainly pops. Back to fashion...check out my pictures and all the shopping details.

Mine came from a cute little boutique but this one from Nordstrom is extremely similar and comes in two colors.

You can't really see the details of my shirt in the picture but it looked really cool under the distressed sweater and I got a lot of compliments.

These are my favorite jeans for so many reasons but most of all comfort. I turned up the cuff to show off the booties.

These are really comfortable and and cool.

These are my absolute favorite accessories. I am wearing both the silver and the gold.

I'm still loving this tote because it's simple but classy and holds all my stuff.

Sephora Play October 2017: Complexion Companions

This month's box was kind of a bust. I'm not a fan of most of what's in there but I'm happy to share my thoughts and ward you off some of these products. But I am excited the perfume sample is back and this was a good one. Check out my reviews.

This was just awful. Illumination is about all it did. I would not say it filled my pores and it did not help my foundation last at all. Try NYX Pore Filler for $14. I mix it with Loreal Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator for $13 for extra glow.

So this use to be my foundation but it just doesn't last all day. It's an Allure winner mostly because it comes in so many colors you can find the perfect shade and I'm impressed with how well Sephora matched my shade so it looked great for about 4 hours. Then I was just shiny. Now I use Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup for $42 for all day coverage or Loreal True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup for $13 when I want something quick and easy.

This lasts an hour at best. I was really disappointed with this product. I'm not crazy about the color and it just didn't last. I use Make Up Forever Ultra HD Microfinishing Loose Powder for $36.

This is a great product. I've really enjoyed the Sephora Collection items I've been getting and this is no exception. I really wish it had sunscreen in it, I would wear all day and it's not thick enough for me on winter nights but it's perfect for fall and spring night time. It's a really nice consistency and it has hyaluronic acid which helps to hydrate your skin.

I don't know what to say about this really except use a tiny amount. It does make you glow and works with foundation, primer (which is how I use it) or moisturizer. However it's really expensive for what it does. I would recommend Loreal Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator for $13.

I like this scent a lot. It's fresh and light with just a tiny hint of floral. I like it a lot.

Ruffle Sleeve Sweater and Distressed Jeans

Here was my Thanksgiving day look, nothing fancy but with a little flare. Ruffle sleeve sweaters are all over the place and while my BP sweater is sold out there are tons of options out there to get this look and I've found a great alternative for you. I know you've seen these booties a lot. I love how comfortable and cool they are so I'm wearing them everywhere. This sweater was a little big on me so I tucked it in a little bit to make it less baggy. I threw on a belt to polish the look off and finished with a Kendra Scott Rayne pendant necklace. Side note, we've painted the door red. What do you think?
Check it out.

This sweater will work perfectly in place of mine. I love the cable pattern in the front too.

I know you've seen these a lot but they're so comfortable I don't want to wear anything else.

These are as close to a perfect pair of shoes as you can get.

My belt is really really old but this one from Target will work perfectly.

Nordstrom describes this necklace as Bohemian-Luxe, it's a good description.

Lace-Up Back Sweater and OTK Boots

I promised you when I wore this sweater last. That I would show you a more dressed up way to style it. Well here it is; white jeans and OTK boots give this sweater a less casual feel. Plus I adorned it with a unique and beautiful necklace that pops against the muted sweater color. I'm so excited to decorate for Christmas. I'm in love with the these pots of evergreen branches that I got at Home Depot. They were under $40 and an easy way to spruce up for the holidays (lol see what I did there?). Anyway here's the look and all the details.

My mauve colored sweater is sold out but it's still available in cream and burgundy, both would work for this look.

It was hard to find a good pair of really skinny white jeans with no holes. I like a crisp pair of white jeans to dress up any look.

So my fabulous lace-up boots are old, whomp whomp, but this pair from Sole Society will work perfectly with this look and would be an excellent addition to your closet. Charlotte Russe has a ruched pair of boots for $30 right now if these ones are a little out of your price range.

This necklace really pops against a muted background and adds flare to this look.

This bag is classic and simple and I love the grey leather.
