Fall Eyes with Tarte's New @NicolConcilio Bush Set

@NicolConcilio is an absolutely fabulous makeup artist on Instagram and YouTube and she has teamed up with Tarte to make the perfect brush set for under $40. It's sold out right now but they will be getting more. To make the perfect fall eyes I used the Tarte @Grav3YardGirl cheeck and eye pallet (which is also sold out but you can sign up to get an email when it's restocked). You can do this look though with any beige, gold, and brown eye shadow plus an angled eye shadow brush and a blending brush. Side note: I need to apologize for the image quality blogger is having issues today.

 

Step 1: Prep your eyes with a shadow primer like Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

Step 2: Use a beige shade (I used big baby) over your whole eye. You can use an angled or a flat eye shadow brush.

Step 3: Use a golden shade (I used sassy bun) on your lid and slightly into the crease with an angled brush.

Step 4: Use a brown (I used sippy sippy) on the outer half of your lid with an angled brush.

Step 5: Use a blending brush to soften the brown and blend it into the gold shade.

Step 6: Follow these steps to get a perfect wing. I used Tarte clay pot waterproof liner.

Step 7: Finish with your favorite mascara. I used Tarte Amazonian clay mascara.

The brush kit also includes a smudge brush, a fan brush perfect for highlighting, a great foundation brush, and a powder brush great for translucent powder or blush. Overall a great kit for the money!

These boots are amazing for the price. I got so many compliments. They pinched a tad bit but over all were very comfortable to wear.

I love that you get two bags for the price of one. The one I wore is the cognac color and you can get it with black or taupe (I have a taupe one too and it's pretty). This bag is pretty big and fits everything.

Plaid and Puffer Vests (for me and mini me)

As the internet says Han Solo season has officially begun (the meme is at the bottom). This look is popular for a reason it's perfect for changing fall temps, it's in the 50s when we walk to school but up to 75 by the afternoon, and Old Navy has the perfect puffer vest on sale right now (and mini me sizes too). Michael Kors Boots $70

Ok so these boots are really cute and I of course bought them on sale and I frankly wouldn't recommend them for a girl as young as Scarlett. The toes got scuffed up really quickly. That being said she loves them and says they are more comfortable then $30 Old Navy boots.

Mommy and Me Green Ponchos

Scarlett and I love a good matching outfit and Forever 21 just delivered big time. These green poncho sweaters are perfect for cool fall days. Forever 21 Poncho $13

Her sweater was more sage then olive but it's really cute. She pulled the single thread holding the arm holes together so now it's more shawl like however it still looks the same (p.s. by the end of the night so did I I could easily repair it but I'm struggling to see why). The kids version has a button as well. Scarlett's is a 7/8 she's 46" tall.

This is so cute we were sharing it till she popped off an eye (which I "fixed" with a sharpie) and now it's hers. It was the perfect accessory for this look.

Alice made this bag for her little girl and Scarlett fell in love and Ella gave it to her. She adores it! Someday I'll explain to Scarlett that Ella took this bag to Carnegie Hall to hear her dad sing. Scarlett takes it everywhere.
