For the Love of Crushed Velvet

Crushed velvet is my favorite trend of the season. It's so fun and brings back found memories of the 1990s. I went full in with the dress, the bag and the shoes and I loved every minute of it and got loads of compliments. I wore this look out for a double date in Old Town Alexandria where we hit up Blackwater Hitch for dinner with some old friends. They have their own oyster farm and they were really tasty. Then we walked up to Magnolia's on King for some excellent cocktails. It was such a fun evening. It's warmed up a bit so I was able to go stockingless and enjoy the weather.
