My Favorite Things at CVS

I love being in the Beauty Club at CVS, you get tons of extra cash coupons for buying all the beauty products I love. Sure, I'll wait 20 minutes for my prescription in the beauty department. Here are my top 5 buys at CVS.

NYX Pore Filler $14
This is my favorite primer. Pore size is genetic. Never believe a product that says it can reduce the size of your pores. But you can fill them up and make them look smaller. This product does exactly what it says it does.

Shea Moisture African Black Soap Body Wash $11

I started using this about a year ago and it's transformed my skin. I have really dry skin and this really has improved my skin. It's full of good stuff like oats, vitamin E and aloe. It's super gentle unlike most body washes that just throw your skin out of balance. 

L'Oreal EverPure Repair Remedy Balm $10

My hair has been bleached so many times it doesn't need a lot of shampooing but it does require tons of moisture and this does the trick. I use it once a week in place of conditioner and let it soak in for 5 minutes. It really helps bring the moisture and softness back into my hair.

Enlite Super Face Wake Up Eyes Cooling Invigorator $17

I have used so many eye products and this one is my favorite for the morning. It's a cooling eye gel that helps depuff and and it has metal ball applicators that massage away some of the dark circles. It's also a great primer for under eye concealer. 

Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick $12

This is the ultimate 24 hour lipstick. It really does last forever, provided you apply two coats to both lips and then don't eat or drink anything for 20 minutes. I always wear this at weddings or other long events. I wish it came in  more colors, but I love the top tomato red.

LuLa Roe Carly and Lace-up Boots

I'm totally over 55-60 degree weather. I'm ready for 75 all the time. But my Breckelles Lace Up Boots helped keep me warm last week. They worked perfectly with my olive green LuLa Roe Carly. Throw in my Rocksbox gold jewelry and the outfit is complete. I'm really looking forward to Carlys and flip flops all summer long. In the meantime here's the look and the details.

This is the most comfortable dress, I probably own 8. They're super versatile, you can dress them up or down. Tie a knot or let it hang. You can even do a twist knot and turn it into a tee.

Breckelles Alabama Knee-High Riding Boot $30-60

Price differs depending on your size, but Amazon is definitely has the best price on these boots. They're really fun.

T-Shirt and Jeans with Fun Accessories

This is what Saturday afternoon trip to the movies looks like for me. In the summer I live in soft cool t-shirts and dress them up with fun accessories. Black with gold accents always leaves you with a nice pop of color to stand out and make you shine. We took Scarlett to see her first Marvel Movie in the theater, praying it would work out so we can finally go to the movies again with out begging my mom to babysit. Point to us, she loved Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 and during the previews told us she wants to see 3 out of the 5 movies previewed. Works for me! Anyway here's the look and the details.

Black Tunic and Skinny Jeans

This is what casual Friday looks like for me. Had I had more time to get dressed I might have chosen a fancier bag. My father's version of casual friday is another story altogether. I think I need to take him shopping. He may have more business experience but frankly I just looked better. This is my go to casual bag, especially in the rain. The only reason I didn't make my dad wait for a more fancy bag was because my portfolio and laptop fit right into it.

Kimono and White Jeans

The weather is loco in Baltimore right now. One week it's in the 80s the next the 60s. This was one of our warmer days. Kimonos are great in the spring and summer, they can jazz up a look, cover your shoulders, or even serve as a beach cover up. This one is from Forever 21 and is on sale for $11! On a sad note you can see all my cherry blossoms have fallen off. Such beauty for like two weeks. Here's the look and all the details.

Forever 21 Dolman Floral Print Kimono $11
This kimono is lightweight and falls just past the rear. The blue is gone but they have it in black and cream.

 

Old Navy Relaxed Hem Tee $12
It's no secret I am a big fan of these t-shirts. It's my favorite white tee because it's not see through. It's also soft and a flattering cut.

New York and Company SoHo Destroyed Jeans $39

They're on sale! I love this brand of jeans, they're soft and stretchy. I'm wearing an 8 but at this point I need a 6 so they're a little baggy. Now that they're on sale I should buy the next size down.

Charlotte Russe Wedge Sandals $20

I'm bummed my sandals are already sold out, but these are pretty close. I'm a huge fan of the wedge. I'm only 5'4" and I like a little height but hate a skinny heel. This shoe comes in black too.

Louis Vuitton Monogram Tote $1,340

My LV is pretty ancient, but it's the kind of bag that never goes out of style. Here's a more recent monogram tote. Michael Kors makes a dupe for around $200 on Jet.com.

Ray Ban Original Aviators $175

These are my favorite sunnies. They're classic, keep out the sun and are comfortable to wear. Nordstrom's BP has a dupe for $12.
