Dramatic Smokey Ombre Eye

This is a beautiful nighttime look I wore to my friend's Leanne's wedding. It takes a little more skill then anything I've posted before but I think if you try it you'll love the results. Just give yourself time to get it right. I used the NYX Smokey Look Kit $12 and Ulta Dual Tip Foam Applicators $2 and a crease brush and a blender brush.

Step 1: Prime lids with a product like Too Faced Shadow Insurance $20.

Step 2: Pick a light grey to start with. I used the right middle color to start at the inner corner of my eye using a foam applicator.

Step 3: Flip the applicator over and use a medium shade I used the top middle and apply it to the center of the lid.

Step 4: Pick a dark shade of grey. I used the top right and used a new applicator to the outer corner of the eye.

Step 5: This is the hard part. As you can notice the lines are harsh and need to be blurred. Uses the applicators to blend the colors gently into each other.

Step 6: Use the darkest shade, I used the middle color, and with a crease brush I highlighted the outer corner and up into the crease a little. Then take your blending brush and soften it.

Step 7: Use an ink liner like Kat Von D Tattoo Liner $20 (which I adore). Follow these steps. I also added a little liner under my eye.

Step 8: Finish with a mascara primer like Lancome Cils Booster $26 and a bold mascara like Tart Light's Camera Flashes Statement Mascara $23. You can also add lashes if you feel up to it. I used Ardell
 Glamour Wispies $4.
